seriously fast

I wanted 2 trucks for my boys so i researched for weeks for the best value in RC. I settled on these bc they had the Short course truck style i like, plus it had the brushless motor and hobby grade shocks. After a lengthy 12 day wait they arrived, but the wait was worth it, bc the boys love them. I bought slightly larger batteries to go w them and now they have plenty of runtime after school. they run ok in the grass and are almost too fast on pavement, but they run best on the dirt baseball diamond by our house. This was my first jump back into rc since i was a teenager and i had some confusion about how the remote/trim worked. But when i emailed the staff they responded very quickly and worked with me and even sent me videos to help me understand what i was doing wrong. after the way they worked w me i'm rooting for this little RC company and i hope they do well. Based on the way they treat customers i think they will. I just wish this truck came in a 3rd color and maybe id order one for myself to race w the boys.

Really good for the price but..

You will receive this product first of all it will take about 1-2 weeks to ship, this is my first real baja truck style suspension and truck and I do really love this thing couple things to note 1: the front shocks have way too much shock oil so you will have to drain some out. 2: the sway bar in the back does what it is supposed to but it’s unneeded so just take it off. comes with battery and battery charger but no wheel socket to change the tires out which they are functional spare tires. I have been beating on this thing quite a bit this week and I have not seen a single issue so far, really great product!

HBX 3100A 1/16 Scale Trophy Truck

Even though it is described as a Short Curse Truck, to me it is a Trophy Truck (SCTs don't actually have spare wheels) and a very nice one in the 1/16 range. The equipment with BL motor and gyro is also good. The first trip was a lot of fun and won't be the last. However, there is one small flaw: the rear shocks could have been a little longer so that there is more travel at the rear. Yes, you can rotate the trailing arms by 180°, but then the arrangement of the dampers looks quite strange. I retrofitted slightly longer dampers myself and now, for me, it is a very, very scaled 1/16 Trophy Truck. PS: I drive it with 2S LiIon with 2000 mAh, works good and longer runtime.
