My entry into the hobby

The HNR Werewolf H9803 was my entry into the RC hobby, and it hooked me right away! It's an incredibly fun to drive. On a 2S battery, at 75% throttle speed it's the perfect amount of fast and fun to learn, after you get some skill driving crank it to 100%. but on 3S, it's a monster! insanely fast and exciting, the box says up 56+ mph on 3s.

with the wide-body look of the car it looks aggressive AF!, it looks fantastic in both color schemes. It's an amazing road car, it also got me into drifting. I didn't care for it before, but trying the included drift tires changed my mind. It's so much fun learning how to slide around things!

I've found only one weak point: the Rear Axle Hub Carrier (#H98183). Mine broke, through normal use. Had to glue it together till my replacement arrived, Ordered an aluminum set to replace my replacement so my top tip is to find and purchase a spare set right away—it's the only part that has broken on me.

This was my intro RC to the hobby

The HNR Werewolf H9803 was my entry into the RC hobby, and it hooked me right away. It’s incredibly fun to drive. On a 2S battery, running at about 75% throttle, it’s the perfect balance of speed and control for learning. Once you build up some skill, crank it to 100%—then switch to 3S, and it becomes a monster. The box claims 56+ mph on 3S, and it feels every bit that fast.

The wide-body design gives the car an aggressive look—fantastic in both available color schemes. As a road car, it performs very well, and it also has the ability to drift. While it is not a dedicated drift car, swapping to the included drift tires makes it capable and extremely fun for sliding around.

So far, I’ve found only one weak point: the Rear Axle Hub Carrier (#H98183). Mine broke under normal use, so I glued it back together until my replacement arrived. I also ordered an aluminum upgrade set to avoid the issue in the future. My top tip: pick up a spare set right away—this is the only part that has failed on me. I give it a Full Recommendation, look around for a source on spare part.
